Dear Ted, Robin, and the crew,

When Anna and I planned our trip to Miami we were looking forward to a weekend filled with fun, relaxation, and excitement.  Two days before our scheduled flight we watched the series premier of South Beach Classics.  We loved the show and immediately decided to make a visit to the facility part of our weekend getaway.  We had a great time checking out all the cars and MADE A FOUR CAR TRADE!!  We just want to thank everyone, especially Ted for taking the time with us and giving us many great laughs and memories.  When we booked our weekend getaway we never would have guessed that the most fun, relaxation and excitement would take place at South Beach Classics!!  We are looking forward for tonight’s all new episode.

Sincerely,

Joseph and Anna

Dear Ted,

I want to thank you for making my purchase of the 1960 Buick from www.SouthBeachClassics.com  such a personable and entertaining negotiation!  I have to comment on your exuberance and joie de verve.  If I wasn’t going to purchase a car, I’d call just to hear what you had to say for the day!  It’s easy to see why you are Florida’s premier Classic Car business.

It isn’t often in my experience, which is 35 years of being a business man and classic car lover that you make an inquiry on a Sunday and less than 48 hours later are furnished accurate, honest information in its entirety.  And to be furnished with photos from every angle along with the car’s history – suffice it to say I knew you were a man who knew his business.  You gave me every bit of information that I imagine you want when you purchase a classic automobile.

Securing an autographed photo of the cast of the TV series, Burn Notice, which featured this automobile in several episodes, was extremely generous and greatly appreciated.  And knowing I’m a Minnesotan – aka a Vikings fan – the autographed Brett Favre photo was the icing on the cake!

Again, thank you for your professionalism throughout this buying process.  To call Ted Vernon Specially Automobiles and speak with you directly Ted, with any questions, was a pleasure indeed.  Your staff could not have been more accommodating either.  Vanessa went the extra mile and did an outstanding job with finding transportation and seeing the deal through to final delivery.

I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

With utmost thanks,

Minnesota Jim

Ted,

I just wanted to thank you for the most pleasant and memorable car purchase we have ever experienced.  You and your staff are among the friendliest and most professional people we've met in South Florida in quite a while.

We are looking forward to the hours of enjoyment we will get out of the '39 Chevy truck and look forward to doing business with you again in the not to distant future (first we need to save a little more "toy" money).

Again, thanks for a wonderful afternoon!

Ted, this is well overdue.  Unfortunately life goes by too quickly, work, work and more work and we have some illness in the family over the last two years.

I never trusted the internet to purchare anything, not even to pay my bills, call me old fashioned.  However, my son trusted an internet auction site and purchased a 1962 Impala.  The seller assured him everything was in fair to good working order, including the frame.  Once we got the car, tried to get some restoration done, no mechanic in the state would touch the vehicle, you see there was no frame, it was totally rotted.  This particular aution trader took great advantage of a young 18 year old, and took his money (lots of it) and ran.

We took the rotted car to Ted Vernon and not only did he take it off our hands, he traded another Impala for my son.  This as in 2007, again, I apologize for not writing in sooner.

Ted you took care of everything for us, even brought the car up to Palm Beach County from Miami for our convenience.  The car is doing great and so are we.  Thank you for your honesty and integrity, these values should not be taken for granted in the classic car business and you certainly have both these qualities.

We hope this finds you well and we will continue to refer friends and family to you.  God Bless you for your honesty and help with our particular situation.  Please free to post this on your web site for all to see what an honest person you are to do business with!

Suzanne and Bill

Subject: MY DEALINGS with SOUTH BEACH CLASSICS
TED, A couple of days ago I found your web site "SOUTH BEACH CLASSICS" while searching  the internet looking for a truck that was a little different from the everyday streetrod. I found (2) that caught my eye. Now, for my problem, I was looking to trade my trucks,  when I spoke with you I was caught off guard by your willingness to look at my trucks.   I sent photos and information for you to look at, the next day I recieved your reply, "They both look nice to me, lets talk" My next e-mail must have had 20 questions about one of the trucks, along with requests for photos  and measurements, of which, I feel you went out of your way to cover all of my concerns. Being a CHEVY/GMC person I was looking at your 41 GMC CABOVER, REALLY A GREAT LOOKING CUSTOM TRUCK, the only problem being the height of the cab and distance between the steps, My wife is disabled and it would be really hard for her getting into the cab and even worse getting out, as with the truck I now have, she can slide out letting her feet touch the ground ( I really liked this truck, but I love my wife more)  Ted, it was really a pleasure talking with you, I can not remember ever dealing with a owner/sales person that was as up front and honest with me, and did not try to talk me into making a deal. I would not hesitate to recommend your web site to any of my friends or club members, thank you for all your time.                                                                                                      Your 38 DODGE truck is the 2ND truck I liked, but, I am a CHEVY/GMC person, anyway I showed the photo of it to my wife, she likes it and says it looks like it would be easier to get in, It does have a CHEVY engine, so tonight I will be giving it a lot of thought and will call you tomorrow.                         BUD PERRY   LYNCHBURG,VA.   (03-06-09)

It was absolutely a pleasure meeting you this weekend. I was blown away by your personality and generosity. I thank you for professional service and kind conversation as an individual. I truly believe loyalty, respect and understanding helps us live longer and makes life much more enjoyable. I truly thank you for everything. I feel I have a friend that’s trustworthy, fun and enjoy the same hobby I so dearly love.

Moreover, the 1980 Malibu is my dream come true. When I pulled up that afternoon I couldn’t believe it. Currently, I have one but the investment I would have made into it probably would have been less but your car has everything I needed. I love the cars you’ve collected. I haven’t seen any other facility with a wide variety of classic cars to choose from like yours. I definitely would by another car from you in the near future. I’m sure my family will as well.

It’s been a pleasure and I hope to see you sometime soon. Thanks.

I wanted to thank you for a pleasant experience shopping and buying at your Miami location.

I came in several weeks ago to look at a 1948 Plymouth and your shop was almost closing, the vehicle was stored at another location as well.

I told your staff that I had made a special trip to see your inventory and Vanessa Lozada without even hesitating offered to get in her car and take us to see the car we were interested in.

I was very impressed with your inventory and how nicely maintained all the cars were in addition to how reasonably priced they were.

Most of all, I was impressed with Vanessa’s professionalism and how she went out of her way to help me.

I was not able to make it back to your shop to make payment arrangements and fill out the paperwork, Vanessa offered to meet me at my place of work which was an hour away from her house early in the day. She made the transition from buyer to owner seamless.

Thanks for the great car,

Meredith Quintana

Subject: My Recent '66 Corvair Purchase

I just wanted to take the time to express how my car shopping experience was with you.  From the start, I really enjoyed looking through the extensive inventory on your well organized and easily navigated website.  I narrowed down my choices to a couple of “entry level” vehicles.  When I stopped by the shop, you mentioned that the cars I was interested were at your home, and you invited me to stop by early the next day to take a look.  We saw the vehicles, I made my selection, and we quickly settled on a price.  I feel I was treated more than fairly.  But more than that, at your own insistence, you took the car down to your shop, detailed it, and tuned up the engine.  During the tune-up, you actually rebuilt the carburetors!  I am truly overwhelmed with the way I was treated.  I have bought plenty of cars in my life, but have never enjoyed the experience like I did with you.  I feel like I was treated like an old family friend.  Well, I may not be an old friend, but you can certainly consider me a new friend.  As you know, this is my first foray into the world of classic cars and I can’t imagine how the experience could have been better.  It’s truly refreshing to find someone who does business the way you do (especially in the car sales industry).  Lastly (and most importantly), as you may recall, this was a surprise gift from my wife’s birthday.  Well, after the initial shock, it was all tears of joy.  She really loves it.  Thank you so much for helping make all of this happen.

Sincerely,

Hank Haft

Thank you once again for your kind hospitality during my visit to Miami.
I really appreciated your honesty regarding the vehicles, they were  everything you said they were.  It's good to deal with someone who has
 good business ethics
All 3 vehicles were exactly what you said they were and looking forward to
driving them for many years to come.

I have a lot of friends who are also car enthusiasts and I will have no
hesitation in highly recommending that they also get in touch with you. I
really did appreciate and enjoyed immensely you taking me under your wing

Subject: Doing Business.......

....

I'm writing you on the verge of our second deal to say, Thank You!  I haven't had this much fun buying and trading cars since I was a kid in High School.....  when a deal meant a deal.....  and you could walk away confident that what you were getting - is what the guy told you.....  and there was no apprehension or reticence after shaking his hand.  Those days seemed long-gone to me.  Here in New Hampshire, there isn't one Dealership or road-side Auto Sales Dealer who will even consider a trade......  not unless they can give you near-nothing for your trade - and over-charge you for their car.  Tucking it to the consumer seems to have bled into just about everything.  I look at Classic Cars every day online.....  I love the old cars, and I like to own as many as I can to experience the joy that they can bring.......  remembering old times, and creating new memories.  I looked at your web-page, and immediately recognized the quality of Classic that you purvey.  And the prices are unbelievable - allowing anyone the opportunity to drive a little piece of history.  But the clincher for me - is that you TRADE.  And trading is FUN!  I'm not a guy who trusts others easily, by virtue of my profession......and I can determine rather quickly and easily who is honest and who falls short.  I quickly built a quality rapport with you, and it was blatantly evident that your honesty and integrity is beyond reproach.  My friends shake their heads in disbelief that I even consider buying a car 1600 miles away - sight unseen - and cross my fingers in hope that somebody actually sends me a car.......the one I wanted......  in the condition it was purported to be!  But I have no anxiety in dealing with Ted and Robin.  When Ted says, "Done-Deal", he means it - his word is a guarantee.  Ted's main concern is that his customer is happy with the deal - and happy with the product.....  he goes above and beyond to make sure that you're getting what you WANT.  He doesn't have to do the extra things he does.......  he exceeds expectations because he genuinely cares about the people who come to see him.......and he will do whatever it takes to make you HAPPY.  He always welcomes you back again.  So in closing - a heart-felt thank you for being a champion of honesty, integrity, fairness, humility, loyalty, patience, respect for others, hard work, and most importantly - fidelity - i.e. bound by a duty of what is RIGHT.

"Excellence" should encompass everything we do.  "We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."     Aristotle.

Sincerely....

Thanks for your hospitality and welcoming my father and me in sunny Florida.

I enjoyed doing business with you in a fair way, as said before "deal is a deal" (longterm thinking as a salesman) and you hold the car for me and waited until we arrived from Holland.

Also it was very nice to meet some (inter)national satisfied customers at your shop.

My dream came true my first mopar a 63 sport fury and first car bought in the USA, so thats the reason we flew over to Florida and checked it before shipping and it was as you described a strong driver with no negative surprises and covered rust.

Robin, thanks for recommending Olympia Logistics for shipping the car to Antwerpen it saved me quite a lot of bucks and Hakan (shop owner) was willing to wait for some car parts in backorder to put in the car.

Thanks for your patience for answering my questions by phone and email, including sending extra photos.

I can highly recommend you guys to be your classic car dealer if you want to make a deal in a fair way with no stress and lots of fun.

Best Regards,

Beste Ted & Robin,

I just wanted to say thank you, I am very happy with my car!  I am like a little kid that just got his new bike. The whole process was easy and you did everything you promised. I appreciate all the patience that you and all your staff had with me.  Every question or concern I had was answered.   I got a great deal on the car even when you realized he had priced it wrong on the Internet.  You are a person of your word and stood by our agreement and sold me the car at the agreed upon price, even though you had higher offers.

It was a pleasure doing business with you.  My father-in-law will be going in to see after he gets back from vacation. I think he's got a car in mind.

Thanks Again, Eric

I am not really good with words, so I apologize in advance.  I would like to begin by saying thank you.  Although I never met you in person, I talked with you several times and you treated me with great respect over the phone and made time for me and all of my questions off and on business hours.  Being a disabled American Veteran on a fixed income, I thought it was impossible to afford a classic car.  You were extremely flexible, took my financial situation with compassionate consideration, and were able to sell me the car of my dreams.

Mrs. Vernon, which I had the pleasure of meeting in person, was most kind to me and my family when I went to look at your showroom.  Mrs. Vernon made me feel at ease and never pressured me into any particular vehicle but encouraged me to consider any decision I made wisely.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Elba and Edward.

You and your staff made my purchasing experience a positive one.

Thank you so much,

Miguel and family

I just wanted to thank you both for turning a usually painful process into an extremely fun and exciting process (buying a car that is ).  I had a lot of fun just looking at all your cars and spending time with you and your much better half Robin. You were both very easy and a pleasure to deal with and made it the easiest transaction I have ever been involved with.  I can’t put in words how much fun I am having driving my 68 Ford Galaxy I bought from you.  I get compliments everywhere I take it, as you must have similar experiences everywhere you go with Robin.  Again, I thank you both and look forward to purchasing another vehicle from you guys.  Keep doing what your doing.

I am so glad that I decided to stop by the other day!  All of my experiences with you guys have been positive ones to say the least.  It has been 5 years since I purchased my 1966 Chrysler Newport from you and I still can't thank you enough for assisting me in making this hobby worthwhile in every respect.

When I walked onto your property and saw your extensive inventory of quality, unique classic cars, I knew I was in the right place at the right time for me to begin a hobby that I love so much. ..I will never forget the chills that went up and down my spine when I spotted the Newport in the back of your lot.  I remember you telling me that the car was a "one owner" vehicle and that the owner was an elderly widow who used the car only to take her girlfriends to play "bridge" or to "church" on Sundays.  It was obvious that the paint was original and that this car probably never had been in an accident, and definitely "garaged", but I thought that the bridge story was a "crafty one" to say the least.  Within minutes you managed to have the car started, pulled out in front of the lot and I was able to test drive it.  Within 24 hours from that moment I was the proud owner of this beauty and remain to this day.  When I got the car home I started cleaning it for the first time.  When I made my way to the backseat, I popped open the ashtrays and to my surprise I found both of them overflowing with old cigarettes with red lipstick on most of them. I could envision  this owner with  her friends, on their way to Church or a Bridge game....I was so intrigued and appreciative of this find that I have never removed the cigarettes nor do I let anyone touch them....but I  show them to each and every person I take for a ride in my classic beauty!!  .......I do  believe you now !!!

I am a true testimonial when I say from my heart that Ted and Robin Vernon are quality individuals  on as well as off the lot....They "say what the mean and means what they say" with honesty and without that stigma that the "car salesmen" carry with them.   I encourage anyone who is even remotely considering this hobby or acquiring additional antique or classic cars to their collection to visit you or your website or stop by and see that amazing collection in person.....and give themselves the opportunity to purchase from quality persons like yourselves.

Regard,

Vinny Alaimo

I wanted to write and thank you for such a great deal on such a great car.  As usual, I knew I went to the right place for the perfect car.  I think this is the 7th car I have bought from you and whether I go there or we do the deal over the phone and I have it delivered, I know I can always count on my purchase being exactly as I am promised it will be.  And this was no exception, the '66 Charger arrived to me and I was delighted to find it was just as I thought it should be.  it drives like a dream and has filled a childhood memory for me that has meant alot.  Thank you for doing all you have done for me this time and in the past, the limos were great, the collection pieces incredible and you and Robin, outstanding.  You are truly one of a kind, and I think it is a gift that you have and share with the world, keep on doing what you do best, and the world will be better for it, I know I am, thanks again.

I just wanted to let you know that you have been such a joy to work with!  When it comes to selling cars, most people think it is an arduous process complete with endless paperwork and hassles.  Most would be correct.  However, it has been quite the opposite with the famous Ted Vernon.  Selling the Ferrari was easy, fast, and fun.  Furthermore, I have thoroughly enjoyed our conversations about cars, life, and of course, Hollywood.

Thank you for your expertise and kind nature.  You may play the bad guy on TV, as they say, but certainly are one of the good guys in real life!  I look forward to working with you in the near future.

Marco Schmidt

I have just closed my second deal with you at the Moultrie Auto Show and wanted to let you and your prospective customers know that I like the way you do business.

You make buying or trading automobiles fun;  you are honest about your cars and their origins, and oftentimes, you supply detailed paperwork to show their history.

We are delighted with our Buick convertible as we were with our Oldsmobile Toronado we obtained from you several years ago (now owned by a very satisfied friend of ours).

Robin previously helped us with some paperwork we needed;  she was prompt, professional, and courteous and seemed to really appreciate us as customers.  I highly recommend you to prospective buyers looking for interesting vehicles.  It's not just your comprehensive inventory that appeals to us, its the way you put that inventory into the hands of your customers!

I have always found you to be very fair and honest with their cars.  I must say they have a wide selection of vintage cars. I have been in this field for many years and have found some real treasures there.

It is great having the open opportunity to trade in your classic to get a different ride!

Subject: Rolls Royce Owner---many thanks

I recently purchased my third Rolls Royce from TVSAS. I have known them for a good number of years and feel like a family member --not a customer--If anyone is in the market for a good automobile --And don't mind being admired everywhere they drive- then Ted's place is the place to shop---At your place you don't have to spend time dwelling on the old days --You can re-live them in your dream car---It is the only place i know that you can walk in with a sad face and drive out with a smile on your face--- driving that dream car ( your past is now your future)--No matter what's your age group --They have a car for you--When you shop at Ted's, you don't feel the pressure of a sale's person pulling you into a little room  to drop a BOMB on you--Ted and Robin are open and fair and allow you to make your own decision about your dream car---Life is not perfect--and we all make mistakes ( what if you make the wrong purchase?)--Listen and listen good!  TED LOVE'S TO TRADE and for that reason alone --this is the place to purchase your special car---I have been a State Investigator for the past 34 years and Nothing impress me like my visits to Ted's place or my visit to his web page------Thank You Ted and Robin for all you do....

Just wanted to send out a quick note to say thank you for a great classic car buying experience. I traded cars with you at the turkey rod run in daytona last fall. The '41 plymouth i traded for turned out to be a really nice ride right from the start. It drove me from Daytona Beach home to Virginia virtually trouble free.Turning heads all the way i might add. I have dealt with you in the past and always enjoy doing business with you. It's not often that you find a "car dealer" that you can actually deal with. You are surely an exception to that rule. I am thinking of purchasing another vehicle from you after looking over your current inventory so don't be surprised to hear from me again real soon.Just keep on doing what you do because you do it good.

I want to thank you so much for putting up with my indecision and helping me get started with collectible cars. Although I flip-flopped more than John Kerry, you were most patient with me and did everything you could to put me in what I wanted – functional vintage car. I know I will enjoy driving my 1964 Comet and it will bring back memories of my paternal grandmother’s last car.

Now I look forward to two more things: one will be getting together with you guys for crawfish and the other will be coming back in a few years for a Mustang (or a businessman’s coupe or a 65-69 Corvair convertible or whatever)!

This note is long in coming, but I wanted to make sure that you were aware about how much we appreciated dealing with you.  It's the only place you can purchase a car and get entertained at the same time.

As you are aware, this was my son's dream car.  He saw it on your website and would not stop pestering my wife and me until we brought him down to your showroom.  The great thing was that you could tell how much my son wanted the car and worked hard to make it happen.  We walked out with my son's dream car.  To me you were so honorable that even though the car was sold as-is, when we had a problem a month after purchasing and a nearby dealership said it would cost over $1,000 and in their opinion the car wasn't even worth fixing, you told us to bring the car down so your people could look at it.  You and your team corrected the problem and my son was once again driving his dream car.

Thanks.  There should be more people like you in the auto sales business.

I walked into your store 2 and a half years ago and bought a 1946 Plymouth. You took me to a car show with it and then I dropped you back off at your home after. You genuinely treated me like an old friend. Unfortunately, that day was the most I ever drove the car. The time came to free up space in my garage. I decided to call you before I did anything I have to say I was very impressed that you recognized me almost immediately when I called. I drove out to the store and swapped with you for a motorcycle. You gave me some money above the trade and off I went. Quick and easy. I just wish I had more time to have stayed to chat. You are a character and a real class act.

Thanks again

Just a quick note to tell you how happy i am with the 73 Mustang (the green one) I bought from you about 9 months ago.  I have been thinking of writing since i first got it, but for one reason or another never got around to it.

I am happier today with the car then i was the day i drove it home.  I originally bought it with the idea of only driving it a weekend here or there.  Turns out that i drive it almost every day.

The added bonus to owning a car i really enjoy was the ease in purchasing it.  You where absouletly wonderful.  You shook hands and that was it, the deal was done.  They where actually happy to see me happy with the purchaase i had just made.  It seemed like it was more then just business for them.  Afterwards, anything they could do to help out with  obtaining  insurance, advice, etc,  they where there to help.

Good people, good buy, good car, very happy buyer.

thank you again.

I was a bit leary about long distance car dealing and the whole process. Thanks for making it an easy and pleasurable experience, and thanks for giving me a fair deal on my trade. I just did'nt have any more time for that project. Hope you can find someone to finish that one up, but for now, finally, I'm "cruizin' in style". I sincerely want to thank you for your first class service at your facility for
Selling my Cadillac 1962 in a couple of weeks at a better price than the market value was simply unbelievable

It was a stress free process for me and I got the payment before leaving for Europe.

Pass my regards to your entire team.
Special mention for your assistant, when I drop my classic motorcycle  she was kind enough to give me a ride in her own car back to my house.

I will for sure buy my next classic car from you and recommend your business to my friends, high profile classic cars collectors.

Now I understand why you have customers from around the world.

Kindest regards,

You all have been great to do business with. I thank GOD for good honest businesses. You  have that kind of business. You immediately become friends in the process of purchasing a classic auto. That’s the kind of atmosphere that surrounds your business. Even over the Internet or phone, you feel the honesty and friendship. That means so much these days. For it is often found. I thank GOD again, and may He bless your business and family. Anyone buying a Classic Auto should contact you first. I am sure they will not be disappointed. Hi. My name is Hans Bognert and lives in Sweden across the globe. Have bought a couple of cars from TVSA's - Miami Classic Cars. First I had my doubt sending this amount for cars I had not even seen so far away. But after I had e-mailed several times about these veichles and always got  very straight and quick answer my confidence with them growed. Subject: My happy-ending dream car story

My life-long interest of cars reached its peak in Oct/2002 when I found a 1992 convertible Camaro for sale by Ted and Robin,on the internet. For most Floridians,a red convertible isn't all that rare but here in SNOWY,COLD and DISTANT MONTREAL,CANADA....those cars are a hot ticket, and even more so when in good condition. You were very understanding of the delays and paperwork, along with payment, that I bought the car based on the pictures, and telling you I was DRIVING there to go get the car.  You assured me that the car would make it home to Montreal,no problem. The car was even nicer than I thought.  I will never forget the moment Robin gave me the keys....even with 20 or 30 other unique rides in the garage, I was the king of the world when I took possession of the car. Driving it out of the store, with the top down, all clean and running better then the previous 4 Camaros I've owned,is one of those moments a car fanatic never forgets, and thanks to you guys,it happened....I give them the highest compliments and assure any customer thinking of buying with them....BUY IN CONFIDENCE,there is no one else like this great,Louie Lovsin Jr,Montreal,Canada.

Why I love T
                      My Testimonial

Because my father is a car salesman, I have an unusual aversion to all things automotive, don’t get me wrong, I love my Dad, but I know what he does for a living.
I bought my first car from Ted when I was 23 years old, a 1960 pink Caddy, and the experience was memorable.
In fact, when I went in to buy my next car 18 years later, Ted remembered me! Too bad he had just gotten married to this great girl, anyway, he made me a great deal on my 1971 Cadillac limousine which I drove for 5 years before some nut totaled it for me.
So here we are again, the best deal yet, a 1964 Cadillac Sedan Deville and she’s a beauty!
Doing business with Ted is both a thrill and a pleasure.
I hope he lives forever, or this car lasts forever, because I never want to go anywhere else for my autos.

 Valerie

I bought a 1987 Jaguar XJS custom convertible from Tvsa four or five years ago.  I bought it sight unseen, but had it inspected.  Your description was spot on.  Ted told me "You know, this is really an old car.  A beautiful old car, but an old car.  It will never be a collector or a museum piece, but it's a good driver." You told me some problems with it being a custom convertible, etc., told me I'd need a new top, some minor work because of a rough idle, some electrical things not working or not perfect.  We close a deal with a decent price - lots less than any XJS convertible I could find in Hemmings, on Ebay, or anywhere else I looked.

When I got the car, I was floored - it was gorgeous.  Everything they said was good was good; everything that needed attention was basically as described.  I spent much less than anywhere else. I spent $300 to correct some minor problems, and I was off.  What a ride! I kept the car for four years and drove the hell out of it, and then sold it for what I paid for it.  Of course, I did put some money into it over the years (the new top, maintaining it, new hides, and of course, it's a late 80's Jaguar, after all) but what a car.

I highly recommend these folks.

Sorry to have taken so long to write you to say how thrilled I am with my purchase!

It's hard to believe,( in today's market), that the purchase of my "baby" could have gone as smoothly as it did.

My first conversation with Ted and the concern he expressed over what my use of the vehicle would be, instead of just trying to sell a vehicle impressed me greatly.  The speed at which we completed the transaction amazed me, and the handling of the paperwork was awesome.  From start to finish with paperwork in hand it took 5 days including a week-end.

When the car arrived it was in even better shape then what you had stated it was  when you explained it to me.

The shipping of the auto with one of sources insured a safe delivery here in New Hampshire.

I have been having a ball since it's arrival in New Hampshire and I thank you for your efforts.

left a flyer in my 69 olds at a swap meet in Moultrie Georgia, after
searching your website I found 2 Harleys that I would like to own. Several
e-mails later we had struck a deal to trade my 69 olds 98 for one of the
Harleys. We set a date to make the trade, I was eager to get a new toy, so
the first available Saturday I loaded up the olds and headed for your place.
I pulled into Teds earlier than expected that day, he was still on the air
at the radio station, but Robin had all the details handled. After a little
paperwork I unloaded the olds from the trailer, the mechanics at your place helped
me load the bike and strap it down for the trip home. I look forward to

can not ask for better people to deal and trade with, I'm glad our paths

Early this year, I was in the market for a classic Mustang and found one online @ in your showroom. Never having purchased a used car, I felt leery. Eventually, I purchased a '65 convertible Mustang and met Ted Vernon, who I proudly refer to as my quirky friend and his wife Robin who keeps the shop together.

I am in law enforcement, and a skeptic by nature. Your  honesty and sincerity has brought integrity to the used car business. I would recommend you guys to anyone interested in buying a vehicle.

My father just purchased a 67 Ford Fairlane from you this week, I would like to let you know how happy you made this man. It is nice to know that there are still good people in the world, he informed me how you enjoy doing this and that you are not out to over price. He has been looking for a car for a while, but could not give in to the greedy prices that were being asked. I just wanted to let you know that it is appreciated that you are an honest and up front person. I have told everyone I come in contact with (gear heads) to check out your web site, and I will continue to let people know what a good person you are.

My father also told me that you were a big baseball fan, glad to see that there are still a few of us left! I played for the Tigers system from 1985 thru 2001, was on the 40 man roster in 1988. Although I am not as big as a Yankees fan like you, I will say that I do not like the Red Sox at all! Once again thanks, Dave Cooper

In September 2003 I retired to Florida and by April 2004 found that I could wait no longer to get my "retirement toy".   I spent weeks checking e-bay and other internet sights and couldn't find anything that appealed to me and was within my price range.  And then I lucked onto you website.

I saw a red 1963 Galaxie 500 Convertible which looked perfect.  I called Ted and explained what I was looking for and he said that he had just gotten in a car which would fit my "wants" even better.  Boy was he right!  Robin e-mailed me some photos which she took that day of a 1964 Turquoise Galaxie 500 Convertible.  It was (and still is) gorgeous.

Two days later my wife and I drove from SW Florida to SE Florida and met you guys and we happily paid for my new toy.

We drove it the 200 miles back to Port Charlotte and have had no mechanical problems with it these past 15 months. I also entered it in some local area car shows and have won three trophies so far. We have also kept in contact. I recommend them to anyone looking for a classic car -- or a 16 foot tall stuffed Giraffe--

More importantly, the condition of the cars that your had advertised were more than I expected and much nicer than what I anticipated, and your selection of hard-to-find collectibles was simply amazing.   I’ll surely buy again from you in the future.  In fact, I am surfing your website now, in hopes to find another treasure.

My name is Marc W. I live in Riverside, California. I found the car of my dreams in Florida on your site. That's when I met you. Pretty simple. We made the deal, they shipped the car and now the "Car" of my dreams is in my garage. That's not the end of the story. A relative that lived in Florida that is now deceased was my mentor. He drove a car similar to the one for sale by you guys. I had a talk with my relatives widow and told her about the car. She looked through her records and came up with a vehicle Identification number. It matched the VIN on my car. I was in tears.
I want to thank you for your honesty and helping to make a dream come true. I've purchased three other cars on ebay and unfortunately they did not turn out like the one I purchased from you.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say "THANKS!" for your recommendation of King's Transport out of Houston.  You may recall I needed to have a 1953 Chevy 1/2 Ton shipped from Fresno, CA to Raleigh, NC.  Well, Robert and the folks at King's did a great job.   The '53 arrived safe and sound a few weeks ago, and only took 8 days to get from Fresno to Raleigh.  I will say that the driver had one helluva time unloading the car, but that's because he couldn't see the tires, due to the fat-fenders and running boards.  He was still very professional and I feel like King's price and service were perfect for my needs.  Thanks again and best of luck with your business...  I'll be sure to turn folks onto your website!

Hopefully, this note finds you and your family well.

I just wanted to share a couple of thoughts with you today, as the 1988 Bentley Mulsanne that I had purchased from you in 1991, yes, (14 years ago) for my father just turned 190,000 on the odometer.  My dad, who had passed away 1 year ago,is still a "daily ride" by my mother, who is taking equally wonderful care of the car.

Dad, who considered the Bentley as a real classic, which it is, did all the proper maintance to  keep the car in pristine condition. Trying to have mother to do the same has not been difficult as she was totally aware of the steps that Dad did to it as well.

As you are aware, high milage is not out of the ordinary on the Sugarman vehicles as I am at 559.700 (no typo) on my 1 owner, bought new) 1986 slant nose, wide body Porsche 911 cabriolet.  Still runs like the every ready bunny!!!!!

Again, I thought you would be interested in my thoughts about the Bentley

Just a short note to thank you for putting me in my 1987 SS Aero Coupe with T-Tops.  I had my heart set on a Camaro; however, you were kind enough to steer me toward the SS as it was a rare find and a true gem that had obviously been well cared for and restored to a great extent.

Not knowing you, I was a little reluctant at first to believe all the info you gave me on the car.  However, it all turned out to be true including you driving it yourself over 300 miles from North Florida to sunny Miami.  It turns out you are  as good as your word, a rare find in the car business.  The more I researched to car, the more excited I got.  This is one of only 200 made with the T-Tops that year.  I actually enjoy driving it more than our newer cars and I feel most at home in it. Being 58, this was part of my generation, albeit the tail ends.  It brings back so many good memories.  Like I tell my friends, I spent more time under GM products than in them in my early days.  I remember intimately where each screw and bolt is.

Robin, you are as good an administrator as an expert on classic and exotic cars.

Best of luck to you and yours in the years to come.

ville så køre tværs over landet.
tilfældigt over Ted og Robins forretning.

Just wanted to say it was pleasure meeting and doing business with you. You made buying a car the way it should be, FUN . I felt like I got a great car at a great price and it felt like I was dealing with someone that I had known for years instead of someone I had just met. The car ran great and turned heads the whole way home. I look forward to doing business with you again in the future . Thanks again.                                               Jim Murray

Hey, I've been meaning to write you for the longest time. I've been far
too busy (work and all). I wanted to tell you how much I love the car. It's
not my Old Mustang as far as tricked out engine and tranny but I like the
Chevy more, I gotta say.Ity's got more personality. My wife loves it so much
we go for drives every weekend on the backroads of Marin. When i got the car
it looked like it went through a mud storm and then it didn't Idle. So
needless to say i was a little scared....but speaking to you on
the phone I knew you guys wouldn't sell me a bum car. You guys seemed too
cool for that. I took it to my trusted mechanic who used to work on my
'stang. He's an old guy that knows his $#*t. I wanted to see what he thought
about the car. He gave it a good look over and said to me "It's solid" I
love it!. For this guy to say that I was very pleased. I replaced all the
rubber, the brakes and gasoline. it run's like a dream.....I just wanted to
let you know and where I should send the books of my work that I promised
you.?.....Did Norm ever call you?
Carlos

After three generations of buying, selling, and trading you continue to produce an amazing selection for us to come back to. The model T paddy wagon you found us is the most unique, but my favorite so far is my 66 Mustang, classic daily driver.

Thanks

Ted,

The ‘72’ Caddy convertible we bought from your company is awesome. This is our first classic car and we are very excited.

I want to tell you that I appreciate the whole experience, including our phone conversations, our visit, and the delivery of the car.

It was a pleasure doing business with you and your employees. Yall made this a very simple transaction.

I look forward to dealing with you in the future, and I feel confident that we can handle all of our business over the phone.

I have seen your business first hand and trust your judgment of the cars that you have available, both quality and price.

Although, I did enjoy seeing your collection first hand. It is sweet.

Thanks again,

Scott Varnum

Hello Ted Vernon  Hope you and family had great vacation.  Was very nice of you to take time out for us old friends.  I wanted to tell you how fortunate you are to have such a good secretary and mechanic to watch out so you could leave and not worry too much.  They went out of their way to help us by waiting late for us and the car ready and everything just as told to us.  I applogize for the transmission oil on the trike, and I hope you are pleased with it.
